The College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University Welcomes the National Team for Program Accreditation Evaluation

On the morning of Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the College of Law received the National Program Accreditation Evaluation Team, established pursuant to Ministerial Order No. (2305-33561) dated March 25, 2026. The team was chaired by Professor Dr. Nizam Jabbar Talib (Supervisor – Chair of the National Council for Accreditation of Law College Programs / University of Al-Qadisiyah) and included Professor Dr. Wissam Muhammad Jabbar (Supervisor – Member of the National Council for Accreditation of Law College Programs / University of Misan), Professor Dr. Abbas Khudair Khalil (Member – College of Law / University of Baghdad), Professor Dr. Waleed Kazem Hussein (Member – College of Law / University of Wasit), Professor Dr. Hussein Ali Hamad (Member – College of Law / University of Basra), and Professor Dr. Omar Abdul-Jabbar Ibrahim (Member – College of Law / Al-Mustaqbal University), alongside Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Louay Ahmed (Representative of the Accreditation Department – Office of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation). The team was formally received by the University’s Assistant Scientific President and Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law, along with a number of faculty members and students. During the protocol meeting, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, affirmed that the College had completed all accreditation requirements according to six key standards: governance and administration, academic program, human resources, students, learning environment, and quality assurance. He highlighted that the College had worked diligently to enhance its educational environment and strengthen quality assurance documentation in alignment with the Ministry’s strategic vision. In turn, the team chair, Professor Dr. Nizam Jabbar Talib, commended the College’s efforts and the organization of its accreditation documentation, noting that the team observed a high level of preparedness that reflects the College’s commitment to developing its programs and enhancing its academic performance. Following the meeting, the ministerial team proceeded to the College building to commence the field audit procedures, which included reviewing administrative and academic records and documents relevant to accreditation requirements. This visit represents part of the College of Law’s ongoing efforts to enhance program quality and achieve national accreditation standards, thereby contributing to the advancement of the College’s academic and institutional stature. Al-Mustaqbal University is recognized as a leading university in Iraq.
