Al-Mustaqbal University continues to strengthen its international academic presence through a distinguished participation in the EURIE 2026 International Summit, held in Istanbul in April 2026, as part of its ongoing efforts to support student innovation and empower youth talents. This participation was represented by the student Qasim Mohammed Jasim Musa from the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies, who represented the university within the administrative board of EURAS NextGen. He held a special meeting and received honorary recognition from Professor Mustafa Aydın, President of the Eurasian Universities Union and President of Istanbul Aydın University, in appreciation of his excellence and active participation in the conference. During the meeting, the student presented a set of his innovative projects, including the “Kitabi iQ” educational platform, the “Virtual Qasim” project based on artificial intelligence and simulation technologies, as well as the interactive book and interactive experiments project, all of which aim to develop modern learning methods. These projects received wide acclaim, leading to his selection among the distinguished students of EURIE 2026 in the field of IT Solutions & Public Relations. The university representative also held a series of academic meetings with several scientific figures at Istanbul Aydın University, including Professor Dr. Hasan Saygın, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Associate Professor Dr. Utku Bulut Şimşek, Director of the Technology Transfer Office and Project Management, where opportunities for cooperation in engineering and technical fields were discussed, as well as activating research partnerships to enhance knowledge exchange and joint innovation. It is worth noting that EURAS NextGen is a youth initiative التابعة لاتحاد جامعات أوراسيا (EURAS), dedicated to empowering students and developing their leadership and technical skills through international participation and academic activities linked to the union’s events, particularly the EURIE International Summit. This achievement reflects the university’s commitment to developing its students’ skills and providing a supportive environment for creativity, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through enhancing international cooperation and academic knowledge exchange. It also reflects the international standing of, and its leading role in preparing a generation capable of competing globally and driving technological advancement.
