Psychological security is one of the most basic human needs, as it forms the foundation upon which balance in thought, behavior, and relationships is built. Without a sense of inner security, it is difficult for a person to succeed, be creative, or even live comfortably. What is psychological security? Psychological security is a person's feeling of tranquility and inner stability, and the feeling of being accepted, loved, and safe in their environment, free from constant fear and anxiety. The Importance of Psychological Security: - It helps with focus and sound thinking. - It boosts self-confidence. - It reduces stress and anxiety. - It improves relationships with others. - It increases the ability to face difficulties. Signs of a Lack of Psychological Security: - Constant anxiety and fear. - Isolation from others. - Low self-confidence. - Quick temper or excessive sensitivity. - Negative thinking. Causes of weak psychological security: - Harsh upbringing or constant criticism. - Exposure to bullying or rejection. - Academic or social pressures. - Constant comparison with others. - Lack of emotional support. How to achieve psychological security: 1- Strengthening the relationship with God: Worship and prayer grant the individual deep inner peace. 2- Positive thinking: Try to replace negative thoughts with realistic and encouraging ones. 3- Building self-confidence: Identify your strengths and work on developing them. 4- Choosing a good environment: Surround yourself with positive people who support you. 5. Expressing Feelings: Don't suppress your feelings; talk to someone you trust. 6. Self-Acceptance: No one is perfect. Accept yourself and learn from your mistakes.
