The President of the University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, inaugurated the booth of the College of Agricultural Technologies, representing both of its departments, at the Central Student Activities Hall. The event was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Al-Fatlawi from the Advisory هيئة / Office of the Prime Minister, along with the university assistants, the Academic and Scientific Supervisor, Professor Dr. Mohsen Abdul Ali Al-Furaiji, advisor at the university presidency, in addition to a number of faculty members and students.
The event featured a review of several distinguished scientific projects reflecting the college’s orientation toward innovation and sustainability. These included a closed agriculture (controlled environment farming) project, a smart irrigation system powered by renewable energy, and a project for designing a humidity control device for indoor farming rooms using artificial intelligence technologies.
This activity comes within the framework of supporting scientific research and enhancing students’ practical skills, contributing to innovative solutions for contemporary agricultural challenges. The exhibition of projects will continue until Wednesday, April 15, providing visitors with the opportunity to explore students’ scientific outputs.
