The College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University continued its participation, for the second consecutive day, in the activities of the “Fourth International Al-Mustaqbal Week for Sustainability” on Monday, 13/4/2026, at the Central Student Activities Hall, with wide participation from the university’s various formations. This participation comes in line with the college’s orientation toward consolidating the concepts of sustainability in the legal field and strengthening the link between legislation and sustainable development issues, thereby contributing to building institutions based on justice and the rule of law. Through its pavilion, the college presented a set of scientific and awareness-raising activities that reflected its role in developing legal education. The pavilion included the display of research outputs and students’ applied projects, in addition to awareness brochures and case studies highlighting real legal applications related to sustainability themes. The participation also focused on highlighting the role of law in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), by showcasing initiatives that contribute to enhancing legal awareness and building a legislative environment that supports comprehensive development. The college affirms that this participation represents an extension of its academic and societal mission, and its continuous efforts to prepare legal cadres capable of keeping pace with contemporary challenges and contributing to sustainable development that serves society. It is worth noting that the Sustainability Week is held annually and is considered one of the important events that the university is keen to organize to promote the concepts of sustainability and to reinforce academic and societal awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.
