The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Hassan Shaker Majdi, accompanied by a delegation from the university presidency, visited the Architecture and Arts Hackathon organized by the College of Fine Arts / Department of Design, as part of the Fourth International Sustainability Week 2026, where he reviewed a number of outstanding student projects. During the visit, the University President listened to detailed presentations from students about their projects, which ranged from innovative architectural designs to contemporary artistic solutions, reflecting a high level of creativity and innovation, under the supervision of Engineer Roaa Ali Younis and programmer Sara Faiq Ali. He praised the efforts of the students and supervising staff, commending the quality of the projects presented, which demonstrate academic awareness and the ability to apply knowledge in serving society and keeping pace with sustainable development requirements. He also emphasized the importance of organizing such events in developing students’ skills and enhancing their spirit of creativity and competition, noting the university leadership’s continuous support for scientific and artistic initiatives that strengthen the institution’s academic standing. This visit comes as part of the university leadership’s ongoing engagement with the various activities held during Sustainability Week, which features a diverse range of events combining innovation, knowledge, and practical application.
