Student Ruqaya Ali Yousif from the Department of Design, second stage, at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, achieved first place in the Architecture and Arts Hackathon, held as part of the Fourth International Sustainability Week 2026, with wide participation and distinguished student projects. The achievement came after strong competition among participants, where the student presented an outstanding project titled “Fashion House,” characterized by creativity and innovation. The project drew its inspiration from the world of fashion and art, translating it into a contemporary architectural vision that combines functional beauty with artistic expression. The design integrates elements inspired by the fluidity and lines of fashion, reflecting the movement and details of fabric through modern architectural formations, giving the project a dynamic identity that expresses creativity and renewal while embodying the integration between art and architecture. The project was developed under the supervision of Engineer Roaa Ali Younis and programmer Sara Faiq Ali, who contributed to guiding the work and enhancing its professional outcomes. The hackathon projects were evaluated by specialized academic committees using precise scientific criteria for selecting the winners, adding a professional competitive dimension that reflects the importance and level of the event. This achievement highlights the excellence of Design Department students at Al-Mustaqbal University and reflects the supportive academic environment that fosters creativity and innovation, preparing a generation capable of excellence in architecture and the arts.
