The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hussein Wahid Aziz, visited the booth of the Archeology Department during the Sustainability Future Week activities on Monday, April 13, 2026, within the college premises. He reviewed the most prominent activities and initiatives presented by the department in support of sustainability concepts. His Excellency listened to a detailed explanation from those in charge of the booth about the displayed projects, which focused on the role of archeology in preserving cultural heritage using modern and environmentally friendly methods, in addition to employing modern technologies in protecting archeological sites and promoting community awareness of their importance. The Dean of the College praised the efforts made by the faculty and students of the department, stressing the importance of enhancing integration between scientific disciplines and the concepts of sustainable development, in a way that contributes to consolidating cultural and civilizational awareness among students and serving the community.
