The activities of the Fourth Annual Future Week for Sustainability were highlighted through a field tour across the corridors of Al-Mustaqbal University on Monday, 13 April 2026, where Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of the University, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Obaid, Dean of the College, conducted a visit that included the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Renewable Energy, as well as several research and scientific stations. The tour showcased the research outputs and pioneering projects presented within the event, where innovative models employing artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of renewable energy and petroleum technology were reviewed. This reflects the university’s commitment to humanizing technology and reinforcing a culture of sustainable innovation. The event also featured scientific presentations and research posters delivered by students and faculty members, addressing smart solutions to environmental and energy challenges. These presentations were followed by interactive academic discussions focused on transforming ideas into practical applications in accordance with quality and excellence standards in scientific research, aligning with the requirements of the 2025–2026 academic year. The tour aimed to enhance scientific leadership and develop the cognitive and practical skills of both teaching staff and students, while supporting an innovative university environment that contributes to providing sustainable solutions serving society and keeping pace with global technological advancements. This event falls within the university’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). It is also emphasized that Al-Mustaqbal University is the first among private universities in Iraq, reinforcing its position as a leading academic institution in supporting scientific research and innovation.
