Al-Mustaqbal University concluded the activities of its Fourth International Sustainability Week 2026 in a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflected the spirit of innovation and knowledge integration, under the patronage and presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with wide participation from faculty members, students, and partners. The closing ceremony came as a culmination of a week filled with scientific and cultural activities. The University President emphasized the importance of this event as a strategic platform for consolidating sustainability concepts and enhancing the university’s role in supporting development pathways, praising the qualitative achievements that reflected the level of institutional progress and integration. In his speech during the ceremony, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, stated that this week represented a comprehensive portrait embodying creativity, depth of vision, and the will for change. He noted that the momentum witnessed reflects the convergence of academic thought with youthful ambition in an effective dynamic form. He also pointed out that the week’s activities included scientific conferences, specialized forums, art and technology exhibitions, as well as outstanding innovative student projects that addressed contemporary challenges with applied scientific approaches. In this context, the ceremony witnessed the honoring of the College of Engineering Dean’s Office, along with a select group of teaching staff from the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries, in recognition of their effective contributions to the success of the week’s activities and their scientific participation, which enhanced the academic and research level. This reflects the distinguished presence of the college within the university’s integrated institutional framework. The ceremony concluded with the University President honoring the colleges, academic staff, administrative, and support teams, in a scene that embodied institutional appreciation and motivation for excellence.
