The College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University inaugurated its art exhibition titled “Colors of Sustainability” at the University Presidency building, featuring 75 artworks. The exhibition is part of the Fourth International Sustainability Week 2026 activities, held under the patronage of the University President, with direct supervision from the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, and under the guidance of Assistant Lecturer Nargis Sattar.
The exhibition runs from April 12 to April 15 and showcases a diverse collection of artistic works reflecting students’ creative visions inspired by environmental and social sustainability concepts through contemporary artistic expressions.
The exhibition aims to contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, by promoting innovative use of materials, highlighting recycling practices, and emphasizing the preservation of natural resources through art.
Furthermore, the exhibition demonstrates the role of academic institutions in fostering sustainability awareness among students and empowering them to use art as an effective tool for social impact and environmental advocacy.
This exhibition is part of a series of artistic and cultural events organized by the university to support its commitment to sustainable development goals and to embed sustainability principles within the academic environment.
