Prof. Dr Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of AL-Mustaqbal University, conducted an on-site inspection of the final preparations for the launch of the ‘4th Future Sustainability Week’, scheduled to open on Sunday 12 April 2026. His tour included inspecting the halls and platforms designated for seminars and workshops, as well as the scientific and artistic exhibitions showcasing the innovations of students and researchers in sustainable development, in addition to reviewing the organisational plans for welcoming guests and participants from various academic and research institutions. Dr Hassan Shaker Magdy emphasised that this week forms an essential part of the university’s strategy to promote a culture of sustainability, noting Future University’s commitment to its pioneering role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and transforming research into practical environmental and social solutions. The opening ceremony is expected to attract a large attendance of academic figures and officials, and the week will feature events aimed at highlighting environmental innovations, strengthening partnerships between the academic sector and the green job market, and raising community awareness of the importance of conserving resources for future generations.
