Al-Mustaqbal University Expands Its International Presence through Academic Partnerships to Promote Sustainable Development

As part of the activities of the Fourth Al-Mustaqbal International Sustainability Week, Al-Mustaqbal University, in cooperation with Mansoura University, organized an international workshop titled: “International Academic Partnerships as a Gateway to Achieving Sustainable Development: Leading University Experiences from Iraq and Egypt.” The workshop was held in line with the university’s vision to expand international academic cooperation and exchange expertise, in support of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 17 related to partnerships. The event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and supervised by Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at Al-Mustaqbal University, with the participation of a distinguished group of academics from Iraq and Egypt. The workshop addressed several key themes, including the role of academic partnerships in enhancing scientific research and innovation, exchanging expertise, and presenting leading university experiences in the field of sustainable development. The workshop featured distinguished scientific presentations delivered by Academic Supervisor Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuhairi, Engineer Khalid Al-Salhi, Head of the Sustainability Division at Al-Mustaqbal University, and Dr. Mohammed Osama Rajeh from Mansoura University. The sessions were moderated by Professor Dr. Iman Abdelaziz. The workshop concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of expanding joint academic programs, strengthening collaborative scientific research, encouraging the exchange of students and faculty members, and investing in digital transformation to develop academic partnerships. Through such initiatives, Al-Mustaqbal University reaffirms its commitment to enhancing its international presence and consolidating its role in supporting sustainable development through education and scientific collaboration.
