On the Occasion of the International Day for the Prevention of Extremism Leading to Terrorism, Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Workshop on "Causes of Extremism and Ways to Combat It"<br /><br />The College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, through the Department of Construction Engineering Technologies and Activities, organized a workshop titled "Causes of Extremism and Ways to Combat It." The event aimed to highlight the factors leading to extremism and propose appropriate solutions to address them.<br /><br />Workshop Topics:<br />The workshop covered several key topics, including:<br /><br />The concept of extremism and its various forms.<br />Intellectual, social, and economic factors contributing to its spread.<br />The role of educational and societal institutions in combating extremism.<br />Prevention strategies and raising community awareness.<br />Speakers:<br />The workshop featured lectures by:<br /><br />Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini – Dean of the College of Law, Al-Mustaqbal University.<br />Dr. Abdul Rahman Abbas – Member of the Violent Extremism Leading to Terrorism Program, Al-Mustaqbal University.<br />Asst.
