Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Sustainability in Prosthetics Fields<br />Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Prosthetics & Orthotics Engineering organized a scientific workshop titled “Sustainability in Prosthetics Fields” on Saturday, February 22, in the Scientific Activities Hall, Medical Building.<br /><br />The workshop saw the participation of a group of experts and specialists in the field of prosthetics engineering. Prof. Dr. Gholamreza Rouhi from Amirkabir University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Jabar Abdul Ameer from the College of Engineering, University of Karbala, and Eng. Haider M. Al-Quraini, Assistant Director of the Al-Warith Prosthetics Center affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, delivered valuable lectures addressing the latest technologies and developments in the field of sustainability in prosthetics.<br /><br />The workshop aimed to highlight recent innovations in the design and manufacturing of prosthetics and their role in improving the quality of life for patients, with a focus on environmental and economic sustainability in this field. The event saw great interaction from students and faculty members, with the opportunity for attendees to ask questions and discuss ideas with the experts.<br /><br />At the end of the workshop, certificates of appreciation were presented to the lecturers in recognition of their efforts in enriching knowledge and promoting scientific research in this vital field.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University: The First in Iraq
