Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, and in line with its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the College of Law launched a major awareness campaign for smoking cessation during the holy month of Ramadan on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.<br /><br />The campaign aims to enhance health awareness among students and staff, highlighting the health, social, and economic risks of smoking, with a focus on utilizing the holy month as an opportunity to quit this habit.<br /><br />As part of the campaign, awareness brochures were distributed, providing information on the effects of smoking and ways to quit.<br />A number of faculty members and students from the "Sustainability Ambassadors" at the College of Law participated in the activity.<br /><br />This initiative comes as part of the college’s efforts to promote public health and its commitment to social responsibility in achieving sustainable development.<br />Goal 1: No Poverty<br />Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University, the top university in Iraq.
