<br />Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Techniques, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, the best graduation project, which won first place at the Festival of Creativity and Innovation on Iraqi Women's Day, was honored. The festival was held as part of the activities of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in Najaf Al-Ashraf.<br /><br />The Smart Wheelchair project, developed by a group of students from the Computer Engineering Techniques Department, stood out during the festival. The project was supervised by Dr. Mussadiq Maher Abdul Zahra and was distinguished by providing innovative solutions to assist people with special needs by integrating artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things (IoT), enhancing their independence and mobility.<br /><br />At the closing ceremony, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, the Dean of the College, distributed honorary shields and certificates of appreciation to the student team behind the project in recognition of their efforts and excellence in providing engineering solutions that benefit society. Academic supervisors who contributed to the success of the project were also honored.<br /><br />The festival witnessed a wide attendance of professors, students, and researchers, who praised the innovative projects and their significance in enhancing the research and development environment within the university. They emphasized the crucial role of such events in supporting innovation and creativity among students.
