<br />In a historic scientific achievement, Al-Mustaqbal University, the First in Iraq, has ranked 1st globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025 under Sustainable Development Goal 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy for All).<br />The official announcement was made today, Tuesday, 17 June 2025, during a special ceremony held in Istanbul, attended by representatives of leading universities and academic institutions worldwide. This remarkable accomplishment marks the first of its kind among Arab universities, and the highest achievement ever recorded by an Iraqi university in the field of sustainable energy.<br />In addition to this global recognition, the university has also achieved national excellence by ranking first among Iraqi universities, and being placed within the 200–300 band globally for SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) — the highest global ranking ever achieved by an Iraqi institution in this category.<br />The full results of the Impact Rankings will be officially announced tomorrow during the 2025 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Summit for Universities, organized by Times Higher Education.<br />On this occasion, Al-Mustaqbal University extends its heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, University President, and Asst.
