Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and within the framework of the preparations for holding the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp, the College of Law organized on September 16, 2025, a lecture entitled: “The Legal Protection of the Environment and Its Role in Achieving Sustainable Development”, delivered by the faculty member of the College of Law, Asst. Lecturer Waleed Khalid Abdul-Kadhim, at 8:00 p.m.<br /><br />The lecture addressed the legal framework for environmental protection and its role in supporting the goals of sustainable development, with a focus on the importance of environmental legislation in confronting contemporary challenges and enhancing national and international efforts in this field, in line with the university’s vision and its academic and awareness-raising mission.<br /><br />This lecture comes as part of a series of scientific and cultural activities organized by the College, affirming its role in raising awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and employing modern laws to find sustainable solutions that contribute to serving society.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University – the top private university in Iraq
