Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, the College of Law organized a panel discussion titled: “Cybersecurity Requirements as an Entry Point to Achieving Sustainable Development: Legal and Technological Dimensions.” The event was held on Sunday, 16/11/2025, in the college hall – the Humanities Building. The lecture was delivered by Lecturer Ruaa Khalid Sukran from the College of Law, who discussed the importance of cybersecurity as one of the fundamental pillars for ensuring the stability of digital systems and data protection. She highlighted its direct role in supporting sustainable development paths by enhancing trust in modern technologies and enabling a secure digital transformation. She also addressed the legal and regulatory framework that institutions must adopt to strengthen cybersecurity, as well as the necessity of keeping pace with technological developments to ensure a secure and efficient digital environment.
