The Assistant Dean of the College of Arts for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr., attended a workshop organized by the Department of Media entitled "The Contribution of Media in Reshaping the Mental Image of Persons with Disabilities and Changing Established Stereotypes." The workshop, presented by Assistant Lecturer Muntadhar Hussein Abd Ali and Assistant Lecturer Sarah Hakim Funeikh, aimed to promote community awareness and develop media discourse towards people with disabilities, by highlighting the role of the media in correcting negative images and highlighting the real capabilities of this group, and presenting successful local and international models. In conclusion, the Assistant Dean praised the efforts of those in charge of the workshop, stressing the importance of media responsibility in supporting community integration and empowering people with disabilities.
