Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, the College of Law organized a panel discussion titled: “Educational Guidance and Counseling for People with Special Needs” on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the college hall – Humanities Building. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Saad Obeid Hussein, who discussed the importance of educational guidance and counseling for individuals with special needs, ways to prepare educational and societal environments to support this group, and methods to enhance their academic and social skills. The discussion also addressed the role of educational and societal institutions in providing appropriate psychological and educational support, and the importance of implementing specialized programs to effectively integrate people with special needs into society. At the conclusion of the seminar, the presenter emphasized the importance of continuing awareness initiatives and programs to support this group, promote values of equality and inclusion, and contribute to strengthening social security and societal peace.
