Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, the College of Law organized a panel discussion titled: “Psychological and Educational Challenges for Adolescents in the Era of Social Media” on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in the college hall – Humanities Building. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Qasim Muhammad Hantoush, who addressed the key psychological and educational challenges adolescents face as a result of using social media, and discussed ways to guide and support them in maintaining their mental and social balance. The discussion also covered the role of families, educational institutions, and societal organizations in providing appropriate supervision and support, as well as the importance of adopting educational and awareness programs to mitigate potential risks. At the conclusion of the seminar, the presenter emphasized the importance of ongoing awareness initiatives targeting adolescents, promoting values of discipline and responsibility, and supporting efforts to strengthen psychological and social well-being.
