The Dean of the Technical Engineering College participated in the activities of the 9th International Conference on Engineering Sciences (ICES), hosted by the University of Karbala / College of Engineering under the patronage of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, held on December 17–18, 2025. The conference was attended by the President of the University of Karbala, along with a number of academic figures, researchers, and students. It included specialized scientific sessions that discussed recent research and developments in various fields of engineering sciences. The participation of the Dean of the Technical Engineering College comes within the framework of supporting scientific and research activities, enhancing academic openness, and strengthening academic cooperation among universities, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). At the conclusion of the conference activities, the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Karbala, Dr. Haider Nazim Al-Muhanna, presented the conference shield to the Dean of the Technical Engineering College in appreciation of his active participation and distinguished attendance, praising his role in supporting scientific activities and enhancing academic cooperation. The ICES Conference is considered an international scientific forum concerned with discussing and presenting the latest research and studies across various engineering disciplines. It aims to support high-quality scientific research, exchange academic expertise, highlight innovations and modern technologies, and enhance scientific cooperation between universities and research institutions at both local and international levels.
