The College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University Organizes a Panel Discussion on “Rationalizing Water Consumption within the University Campus.”

In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the rationalization of water consumption within university campuses, and within the activities of Al-Mustaqbal Water Conservation Week, launched by Al-Mustaqbal University under the slogan: “A drop of water is life… Do not waste it, even if you are at a flowing river,” the College of Law organized a panel discussion entitled: “Drafting Regulations for Rationalizing Water Consumption within the University Campus.” The panel was delivered by Dr. Thamer Ramadan Amin, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Law, who highlighted the importance of rationalizing water consumption as both an institutional and ethical responsibility. He emphasized the role of administrative regulations and instructions in organizing the optimal use of water resources within the university environment. The lecturer also reviewed the proposed legal and administrative mechanisms for drafting internal regulations that contribute to reducing water waste and promoting a culture of sustainability among students and staff, in line with national policies and the Sustainable Development Goals. At the conclusion of the panel, emphasis was placed on the importance of concerted efforts between university administrations and students to strengthen environmental awareness and to translate ministerial directives into practical actions that contribute to conserving natural resources and ensuring their sustainability for future generations.
