Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, Respected, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Respected, and as part of the activities of the College of Law in the field of sustainable development, and in cooperation with the Women’s Rights Division, the College organized a panel discussion entitled: “National and International Legislation Related to Women’s Health.” The panel was held on Tuesday, 23/12/2025, in the College of Law Hall – Humanities Building. The panel was delivered by Dr. Abdulrahman Abdullah Al-Sarraj, who addressed the national and international legislative frameworks related to women’s health, highlighting the most important legal guarantees that ensure the protection of women’s health and the promotion of their rights, as well as the role of laws in providing comprehensive healthcare and achieving social justice. The panel also reviewed the most prominent international conventions and standards related to women’s health, explaining the extent to which national legislation aligns with them, and emphasizing the importance of developing and activating these legal texts in line with societal changes and enhancing the protection of women’s health. At the conclusion of the panel, the lecturer emphasized the importance of raising legal awareness among students regarding legislation related to women’s health, and the role of law in supporting sustainable development and building a just and balanced society.
