Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Technologies, Professor Dr. Mahdi Abdul-Kadhim Eid, and within the activities of the Student Activities Unit, the College of Agricultural Technologies, in cooperation with the College of Nursing, organized a workshop entitled “First Aid.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mahdi Hamza Manthour and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Hasab, who presented the fundamental principles of first aid and the proper methods for dealing with emergency situations. The workshop was attended by the Dean, heads of academic departments, a number of faculty members, as well as students from the Departments of Medical Plants and Natural Products Technologies and Animal Production Technologies. This workshop comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s efforts to enhance health awareness and develop students’ practical skills. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among private universities in Iraq.
