Asst. Prof. Dr. Karar Majid Ubaid held a workshop titled "Intellectual Extremism and Its Impact on Society", aiming to shed light on the dangers of extremist ideologies and their negative effects on social cohesion and community security. The workshop covered several key topics, including the causes of extremist thought, its effects on youth and society, and strategies for prevention and awareness to combat this phenomenon. A discussion session was also held, allowing participants to exchange experiences and propose practical solutions to reduce the impact of intellectual extremism. During the workshop, Asst. Prof. Dr. Karar Majid Ubaid emphasized the importance of promoting moderate culture and community values, as well as raising youth awareness about national belonging and constructive dialogue as means to curb manifestations of intellectual extremism.
