In line with achieving the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-Being), a scientific and health activity was conducted at the Optical Devices Laboratory of the Department of Optics Technologies. Professor Dr. Raad Shakir, Head of the Department of Radiological and Sonar Technologies, visited the Optical Devices Laboratory for intraocular pressure measurement, following a sudden onset of eye redness. The necessary medical examinations were carried out by Lecturer M.M. Ali Hadi Maidi, using the optical devices available in the department’s laboratories. On this occasion, the Department of Optics Technologies announces its full readiness to perform specialized eye medical examinations in its laboratories, under the supervision of a distinguished group of highly qualified faculty members specializing in optics, in order to provide the best medical and diagnostic services.
