The College of Fine Arts organized a practical workshop entitled “Digital Furniture Design” for students of the Design Department, as part of a series of hands-on workshops aimed at enhancing practical learning and developing students’ applied design skills. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Rowa Ali Al-Mousawi, a faculty member at the College of Fine Arts, and focused on introducing students to the fundamentals and techniques of digital furniture design, while bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications aligned with contemporary design practices. The workshop also aimed to prepare and support students for participation in the Architecture and Interior Design Hackathon launched by the college, which includes valuable prizes for outstanding winners, encouraging creativity, innovation, and collaborative work. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by providing applied learning opportunities that enhance students’ skills and promote academic and professional development.
