M.Sc. Haider Mutlak Mousa, M.Sc. Abbas Hamza Khudair, and Dr. Karrar Majid Obeid organized an awareness campaign titled "How to Protect My Child’s Teeth", attended by a number of parents and college students. The campaign is part of the academic and educational activities aimed at promoting health awareness among the university community and those around it. The campaign addressed the importance of dental care from early childhood, ways to prevent cavities and gum diseases, and healthy dietary habits that help maintain oral health. It also covered proper teeth-cleaning techniques, the importance of regular dental check-ups, and the impact of early awareness in instilling lifelong healthy habits. The organizers emphasized the role of families and the academic staff in monitoring children’s dental health, promoting preventive care, and ensuring the development of strong and healthy teeth. They also stressed that dental care is not solely the responsibility of the dentist, but an essential part of a healthy lifestyle culture that families and communities should adopt. This campaign is part of a series of awareness activities organized by the college to enhance health awareness among students and the community, and to encourage preventive habits that ensure better health for children and the next generation.
