Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq, and under the supervision of the President of the University of Al-Mustaqbal, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and in cooperation with the Faculty of Commerce – Mansoura University (Egypt) and the College of Business Economics – University of Bahrain, the College of Administrative Sciences at the University of Al-Mustaqbal announces the convening of the Second International Scientific Conference entitled: “Poverty and Sustainable Development in Iraq: The Cost of Impact and Response Policy” to be held on 1–2 April 2026 at the University of Al-Mustaqbal. The conference aims to shed light on key issues related to poverty and sustainable development, analyze the economic and social costs of the impacts of poverty, and discuss government policies and social support programs. It also seeks to promote environmental and economic sustainability and highlight the role of digital transformation, financial technology, and artificial intelligence in addressing developmental challenges. The conference includes several scientific themes, among them the economic, administrative, accounting, and financial tracks, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from Iraqi, Arab, and international universities. The organizing committee invites researchers and interested scholars to participate and submit their abstracts and research papers within the specified deadlines.
