Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and with the follow-up and supervision of the Presidency of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, a dialogue session entitled “Stress Management and Achieving Balance Between Study and Life” was held. This event reflects the University’s commitment to supporting students, enhancing their quality of university life, and fostering a motivating educational environment that addresses both academic and psychological aspects.
The session aimed to create an interactive discussion space with students to explore the main sources of psychological stress in university life and effective ways to cope with exam anxiety and tension. It also addressed time management strategies and prioritization skills to help students achieve a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and personal life. Furthermore, the session covered practical approaches to managing negative thoughts, adopting daily habits that support mental well-being, and strengthening coping skills and psychological resilience.
The session witnessed active student participation through questions, sharing real-life experiences, and exchanging perspectives on academic challenges and pressures. This interaction enriched the discussion and led to practical recommendations applicable both within and beyond the university environment.
At the conclusion of the session, emphasis was placed on the importance of continuously adopting mental health–supportive practices and encouraging students to seek guidance and counseling when needed. Such efforts positively contribute to academic achievement, psychological stability, and the development of well-balanced university personalities capable of facing challenges.
This activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), Goal 4 (Quality Education), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), contributing to the preparation of more aware and capable students who can achieve academic success within a supportive and healthy environment.
