In line with the achievement of the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-being), the Head of the Department of Optical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, Assistant Professor Dr. Munther Smeen Shukr, distributed educational booklets to the Department of Community Health, in the presence of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Aqeel Handhal. The booklets included scientific and educational materials that contribute to supporting eye health and spreading visual awareness within the university community. This activity aims to strengthen scientific cooperation between academic departments and integrate efforts in promoting health culture, particularly with regard to eye safety and the prevention of visual diseases, in a way that positively reflects on the students of the Department of Community Health and their academic and practical journey. The activity was carried out with the participation of the lecturers Tamara Nihad Abbas and Hanen Haider Hussein, who contributed to organizing and coordinating the distribution process, as well as providing scientific support for the educational content presented. This initiative comes within Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to support health and educational initiatives, enhance the university’s role in serving the community, and align with the Sustainable Development Goals by building a healthy, aware, and educated university environment.
