Technology plays an increasingly significant role in improving the quality of life for older adults, as digital solutions have become an essential part of healthcare and social care strategies for this age group. Technological innovations help meet the daily needs of seniors, whether through remote health monitoring or providing tools that facilitate everyday activities, thereby enhancing their independence and reducing reliance on traditional facilities or continuous personal support. Artificial intelligence applications represent a major advancement in the care of dementia patients, offering tools to monitor health status and behavioral changes, and alerting caregivers when immediate intervention is needed. This helps manage symptoms more effectively and reduces risks associated with accidents or neglect. These systems also enable the analysis of individual data to provide personalized care plans, track disease progression, and adjust care strategies accordingly. Furthermore, technology supports social interaction for older adults through smart applications that connect them with family and friends and provide recreational and educational platforms, reducing feelings of isolation and depression they may face. Integrating technological innovations with traditional care programs enhances the community’s ability to provide comprehensive and holistic care, improves the quality of life for seniors, and allows them to live more independently and comfortably in their daily lives.
