Definition of the Championship
The National University Robotics Championship is a national scientific event organized under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It aims to promote technological creativity and motivate students to develop their practical and theoretical skills in the fields of robotics, intelligent systems, control, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems.
The championship is based on six specialized competitive tracks covering the mechanical, electronic, programming, and engineering aspects of modern robotics. It serves as a national platform for discovering talents and supporting applied projects in Iraqi universities.
Mission
To empower Iraqi students and researchers to develop their technical skills through advanced scientific competitions, promote a culture of applied research, teamwork, and innovation, enhance collaboration between universities and the industrial sector, and support promising projects to transform them into products of national value.
Vision
To become the largest applied scientific platform in Iraq for showcasing engineering talents and building an innovative research environment in robotics and artificial intelligence, in line with global industrial trends. The Fourth Industrial Revolution represents the current phase of technological advancement, integrating the physical, digital, and biological worlds.
