As part of its scientific activities aimed at enhancing academic knowledge and developing students’ research skills, Lecturer Estabrak Aref Muhammad from the Biochemistry Department delivered a scientific workshop entitled “Biological Reactions.” The workshop addressed the fundamental concepts of biological reactions within the human body and living organisms, and their role in regulating various vital processes. The workshop included a detailed explanation of enzymatic reaction mechanisms and the factors affecting the rate of biological reactions, in addition to highlighting their importance in medical, pharmaceutical, and laboratory diagnostic fields. It also shed light on the practical applications of these reactions in understanding diseases and developing modern treatments. The workshop witnessed notable interaction from attending students, with numerous questions and scientific discussions that enriched the session and deepened the academic benefit. This workshop comes as part of a series of scientific activities through which the Biochemistry Department seeks to support the educational process and strengthen students’ practical skills. At the conclusion of the workshop, emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing such scientific events due to their significant role in raising academic standards and fostering students’ research-oriented thinking.
