Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of, Al-Mustaqbal Universitythe Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit / College of Arts and Humanities, is organizing a workshop presented by Asst. Lecturer Rya Naseef Jassim entitled: “The Role of Women in Media” The workshop will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026. This workshop aims to highlight the importance of women’s participation in media work and content creation. It also seeks to strengthen the role of women in conveying social issues objectively and professionally. The workshop focuses on empowering women in the media field and building their capacities in journalism and digital media. In addition, it discusses the challenges facing women in media and ways to address them. This event comes in implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security / Prevention and Protection Pillar, and in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 5: Gender Equality). Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities in the classifications.
