Within the efforts of the Department of Optometry to enhance the quality of education and ensure compliance with academic standards, Asst. Lecturer Hassan Faiz, the department coordinator, participated in the second day of the program accreditation workshops, delivering a specialized workshop focused on Standard Two of the accreditation criteria. The workshop emphasized a systematic scientific approach to the standard’s requirements and reviewed best practices and practical strategies aimed at improving academic program quality, enhancing learning effectiveness, and ensuring educational outcomes aligned with national and international standards. This activity is undertaken in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting the development of academic programs, enhancing faculty competence, and promoting high-quality learning outcomes, thereby preparing scientifically and professionally qualified graduates capable of meeting societal and labor market demands.
