The Department of Design at the College of Fine Arts, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a series of practical workshops for first-year students under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Hani Athab and Teaching Assistant Mousa Diaa, as part of its efforts to strengthen applied learning and core design skills. The workshops focused on intensive hands-on activities aimed at reinforcing fundamental design concepts, particularly in composition, visual balance, and working with various materials, helping students build a solid academic and practical foundation early in their studies. They also provided an interactive learning environment that encouraged experimentation and teamwork, enhancing students’ creativity, idea exchange, and artistic sensibility in alignment with academic requirements. These activities reflect the department’s commitment to preparing a generation of designers equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise, meeting labor market demands and keeping pace with modern developments in the field of design.
