The Department of Medical Instrumentation Engineering Techniques at the College of Engineering Technology, Mustaqbal University, organized an awareness campaign targeting third-year students on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The campaign, held within the university campus, focused on modern engineering technologies and their role in project development. Supervised by Dr. Ziad Taha, Dr. Osama Jaber, and Asst. Lect. Ali Kareem, the initiative aimed to introduce students to the most prominent emerging technologies in medical engineering. It highlighted how these technologies can be utilized to improve the efficiency of devices and systems, aligning with the requirements of scientific advancement and the labor market. The event focused on the importance of integrating theoretical and practical aspects to provide advanced engineering solutions that support the healthcare sector. Furthermore, it aimed to develop technical awareness and encourage creative thinking and research skills among students, ensuring they keep pace with rapid technological shifts in their specialized field. This initiative is part of Mustaqbal University’s efforts to elevate academic standards and enhance educational quality, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) to prepare qualified engineering personnel capable of leading future innovation.
