Medical of Instrumentation Techniques Engineering Department is one of the newly established departments at Al-Mustaqbal University College. It was founded in the academic year 2020-2021 in response to the urgent need for this advanced specialization in Iraq’s healthcare sector. The department was established based on a letter from the Department of Private Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (No. T H A/C 8266, dated 8/12/2020). The department aims to provide the labor market with skilled professionals specialized in medical devices engineering, which is one of the key factors in developing and improving healthcare services in the country.

The specialization covers multiple areas, including the design, development, maintenance, and operation of advanced medical devices, with a focus on applying engineering principles and techniques to address and solve medical issues related to the human body. The importance of the department lies in supporting the healthcare sector in Iraq, which faces a shortage of specialized technical expertise in this field, by preparing competent engineers who can innovate in this vital sector.
