The Central Hall for Student Activities in the Engineering Building at Mustaqbal University witnessed the launch of the "3rd Medical Instrumentation Forum" on Sunday, April 12, 2026. This event coincides with the 4th Sustainability Week, held under the slogan "Science in the Service of Sustainable Development." Under the patronage of the President of Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, the forum was attended by Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairy, Director of Academic and Scientific Supervision, representing the President, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azher Mohsen Abed. The forum aims to enhance knowledge exchange and support innovation in specialized medical fields. The forum’s sessions focused on reviewing the latest technologies and engineering solutions in the medical device sector and utilizing scientific research to keep pace with global developments. This contributes to enriching the department's scientific journey, developing students' practical skills, and linking their academic outcomes with the rapidly changing labor market needs. This event is part of the university's efforts to elevate scientific standards and achieve academic excellence, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) to build an integrated educational environment that fosters technical and scientific awareness among students.
