The Department of Optics Techniques at AL-Mustaqbal University has begun preparations to participate in the “4th Future Sustainability Exhibition” by setting up a booth for its scientific and applied exhibits on Sunday 12/4/2026, under the direct supervision of the department chair, Assistant Professor Dr. Munther Samin Shukr. The preparations included the preparation and display of a range of optical projects and devices that reflect the practical aspects of the field of optical technologies, as well as highlighting the department’s role in supporting sustainability concepts through the use of modern technologies to serve society and the environment. The department’s team of faculty members and students also worked to organize the booth in a scientifically distinguished manner befitting the event’s importance and academic standing. Dr. Munther Samin Shukr emphasized that the department’s participation is part of efforts to strengthen the scientific presence of the Department of Optical Technologies and highlight its contributions to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, noting the importance of such events in developing students’ skills and broadening their scientific and practical horizons. It is hoped that the booth will attract a large number of visitors and interested parties, given the high-quality exhibits it features, which highlight the latest innovations and applications in the field of optical technologies within the context of sustainability.
