As part of the activities of the Fourth Sustainability Week, and under the patronage of the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a specialized online workshop on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, entitled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Modern Physical Therapy.” The workshop was held via Google Meet at 8:00 PM. The workshop aimed to highlight the latest applications of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of physical therapy, and to demonstrate their role in enhancing diagnostic accuracy, developing rehabilitation programs and plans, and improving the quality of healthcare services provided to patients, in line with the rapid technological advancements in the medical sector. The workshop lecture was delivered by Dr. Ashraf Alaa Mostafa from the Arab Republic of Egypt, who reviewed the أبرز modern innovations and future trends in employing artificial intelligence in physical therapy practices. He also presented practical models reflecting the impact of these technologies in supporting healthcare professionals and improving therapeutic performance efficiency. This activity comes the university’s efforts to promote scientific and technological awareness among students and academic staff, and to integrate health specialties with modern technologies in a way that serves the goals of sustainable development.
