.The Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Techniques was established in 2025 as part of the College of Medical and Health Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University. It stands as one of the leading departments within the medical cluster, dedicated to preparing highly skilled technical professionals in the fields of medical rehabilitation and physiotherapy. The department follows an integrated educational methodology that combines theoretical foundations, clinical competencies, and modern technologies.
The department aims to graduate qualified physiotherapists and medical rehabilitation specialists capable of diagnosing motor and functional disorders, designing evidence-based treatment plans, and applying contemporary physiotherapy techniques using electrical and mechanical devices, as well as customized therapeutic exercises. The curriculum also encompasses the rehabilitation of neurological, surgical, internal medicine, pediatric, and hearing/speech-related conditions, in addition to supporting athletes through targeted rehabilitation programs.
The department distinguishes itself through its emphasis on quality and innovation, alignment with international educational and research standards, and encouragement of applied research linked to national healthcare needs. Graduates are prepared for employment in public and private hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and sports institutions (including the Ministry of Youth, the Olympic Committee, and various sports federations). Upon graduation, students are awarded the professional title of “Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Technician” and are appointed within the Ministry of Health’s official staffing structure.

Objective
The Department of Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy Techniques at the College of Medical and Health Technologies, Al-Mustaqbal University, strives to achieve the following objectives:
1. Graduate competent professionals equipped with the theoretical knowledge and clinical skills necessary to diagnose motor and functional impairments and implement evidence-based treatment plans for conditions affecting the neurological, surgical, internal medicine, pediatric, sports medicine, and hearing/speech domains.
