As part of the First Scientific Conference on Medical Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, held on April 19, 2026, at the medical building of Al-Mustaqbal University campus, the Department of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Physical Therapy organized a specialized practical workshop for students to develop their skills in using modern physiotherapy devices. The workshop was supervised by a group of lecturers and specialists and included hands-on training on the mechanisms of electrical stimulation devices, ultrasound, and therapeutic laser, along with direct applications that enabled students to learn proper usage methods and adjust settings according to different medical conditions. The activity aimed to enhance students’ practical skills and link theoretical knowledge with clinical practice by training them in assessment skills and selecting appropriate therapeutic methods for each case, thereby improving their professional competence. This workshop aligns with the department’s vision to prepare scientifically and practically qualified graduates capable of keeping up with modern developments in medical rehabilitation and physical therapy, ultimately improving the quality of healthcare services provided to the community.
