As part of promoting cultural and intellectual cooperation, the Head of the Department of Archaeology, Prof. Dr. Hudayb Hayawi Abdul Karim, and its rapporteur, Asst. Lecturer Zaid Awad Atiya, along with university staff, visited the Baghdad International Book Fair. The university has always been at the forefront in supporting and actively participating in scientific forums across various fields. <br /><br />This visit aimed to explore the latest publications in the fields of archaeology, history, and publishing houses interested in cultural and civilizational heritage. The visit included tours of the exhibition halls, where the attendees reviewed books and references related to archaeological excavations, ancient civilizations, and Arab and Islamic history.<br /><br />It is worth noting that the visit of the Head of the Department to the exhibition is part of efforts to support cultural initiatives that enhance academic awareness and foster connections between academic circles and the cultural community, contributing to the development of archaeological and research studies in Iraqi universities.
