In line with Al‑Mustaqbal University’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 10, which focuses on reducing inequalities, the academic staff of the Department of Archaeology, in collaboration with the department’s students, organized an awareness campaign aimed at enhancing social consciousness and community solidarity.<br /><br />The campaign featured a humanitarian visit to the workers of the Municipality of Al-Hilla, during which clothes and gifts were distributed in appreciation of their continuous efforts in serving the community. Additionally, educational sessions were held on the importance of social justice and its impact on reinforcing the values of equality and solidarity among community members.<br /><br />The academic staff emphasized that this initiative is part of Al‑Mustaqbal University’s commitment to its societal role and to implementing the Sustainable Development Goals, by raising awareness about the importance of narrowing social and economic gaps among different groups.<br /><br />The activity was met with great appreciation by the workers, who expressed their gratitude for this initiative that reflects the spirit of solidarity and recognition of their daily efforts, underscoring the importance of such campaigns in strengthening community cohesion.
