In line with its commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals and raising environmental awareness in the community, the Department of Archaeology in the College of Arts and Humanities at Al‑Mustaqbal University launched the “Sustainability Ambassadors” campaign to reduce the use of plastic outside the university campus.<br /><br />The campaign aims to promote a culture of sustainability among local community members by raising awareness of the dangers of plastic pollution and encouraging its reduction. This initiative is part of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 13 related to combating climate change, and seeks to enhance the university’s role in serving the community and spreading environmental awareness.<br /><br />The campaign will include awareness sessions, field workshops, and the distribution of educational materials about the environmental risks of plastic and the role individuals can play in reducing its use. This step is intended to achieve a positive and tangible impact on the local community.<br /><br />This initiative is aligned with Al‑Mustaqbal University’s vision to enhance its community engagement and activate environmental initiatives that contribute to building a sustainable future for generations to come.
